Every jewel created in our atelier begins with noble raw materials: 22kt and 18kt hallmarked gold, conflict-free natural diamonds, and hand-selected colored gemstones. What transforms them into heirlooms is the patient touch of master craftsmen.

The house method
From Dilawari Market, every piece still moves through design, fire, setting, polish, and assay — the same patient sequence the karigar trusts.
Stage 01
Design & Conception
Every design begins as a series of hand-painted gouache illustrations. Our designers study weight distribution, metal reflection, and skin ergonomics to ensure the piece wears as beautifully as it looks.
Stage 02
Hand Forging & Craft
Master goldsmiths melt, alloy, and hand-draw gold into precise ingots, wires, and sheets. Using traditional anvils, files, and sawblades, the gold skeleton takes its distinct structural shape.
Stage 03
Master Stone Setting
Our setters work under stereoscopic microscopes, carving prongs, bezels, and jadau channels by hand. Each diamond and gemstone is positioned at the precise optical angle to maximize fire and scintillation.
Stage 04
Polishing & Burnishing
The jewel undergoes five distinct polishing stages using natural bristle wheels, cotton mops, and diamond paste. Hard-to-reach internal galleries are hand-threaded to ensure no edge is left unrefined.
Stage 05
Hallmarking & Quality Assay
Before any piece enters the showroom, it undergoes laser assay testing for metal purity and full gemological documentation. Only when it passes our 24-point quality inspection is it stamped with the Chawla Jewellers seal.
